so my company is built like bunker. I cant get signal. my laptop has access to the company wifi....what is the best way to "get internet" from my laptop to my phone?
If there is WiFi available, why not connect to WiFi with your phone? If the answer is because the company doesn't allow your cell to connect to WiFi, then I would probably recommend not circumventing their security protocols.
With that said, if you can connect to the network via Ethernet cable then you could probably setup an ad-hoc network which can share the internet via WiFi. I don't think you can connect to the network via WiFi then create an ad-hoc network on the same adapter. Unless you have a second wireless adapter you need Ethernet to the main network.
