I'll be going to college soon and I was thinking of getting a 2005fpw. Are there any durable carrying cases that will allow me to transport it easily? If not, any other good monitors I could consider that are transport ready?

well then i have a sub question, where can i find one that'll fit a 2405fpw

Try the LCD Shield from CaseAce. I use the large size (19"-21") for carrying my 2005 FPW around. I'll post pics tomm or day after...

The stand is best carried separately. The carrier fits nicely in the overhead compartments of most jets ( unless you are flying in one of those Avro RJ85/100's )

When I get my 2405FPW I'll check if the lcd carrier will fit it, but I would doubt it.
