Alright then. Last summer I got this AMD Athlon Xp 2500+ Mobile CPU, along with some 512 RAM, etc. I had a time figuring out how to overclock it. But, eventually I got the cpu stable at about 2.3ghz. But, about a month or two ago lightning hit the house, bat'a bing, power supply and motherboard is fried. SO, I rebot some shit, had some things RMA'd, and I figured while I was at it, to buy another stick of RAM (512) and to get a better PS then what I had before, which was something like a 350watt. So now here is my problem. I've got a gig or RAM, a 430watt PS, and the same cpu. BUT, I can't get it to oc over 1.50 or 1.60. Everything else will crash after Windows boots, or imediatly after saving and exiting the BIOS. What would be the warning of how high to get the voltage? Somewhere around 1.650V?
What I had before with the 350Watt and the 512 RAM was this :
166Mhz
12.5x
1.650V
And that was stable, but on here it freaks out. Any suggestions?
