Alright, As I said in my last thread, I was deciding what Processor to get. I decided I'm going to go with the Mobile 2400+. It's stock speed is 1.8GHz. Do you think you can bring it up to 3200+ Speeds @ 2.2GHz on Air Cooling?
Possibly a Copper Zalman 7000

If you think it can go higher, How high do you think it will go?

2.2 IS A GIMME.... Realistically with even moderate air cooling it should do 2.4ghz. Mine does 2.4ghz @1.7v easily using a Thermaltake Silent Boost copper cooler, very quiet, keeps load temps to under 52c

I am idling at 32c normally, using an Enlight case with a single 80mm exhaust fan...

Ahh, I'd be using a Chieftec Dragon, 3 intakes, 2 exhausts. Should run cooler? 52C under load is a little more then I was thinking. The Idle temps are good however.
My friend has a 2400 Desktop and he's running at 2.4GHz now. I was thinking the Mobile would surpass it by ~100MHz due to the lower volts

Like I said, the cooler I have is silent....a better cooler would lower the load temps by probably 5c or more....but I do not want the noise. Also my case cooling is minimal at best...but silent

:D

You should be good to go with that case....and I have not seen a Mobile yet that would not do 2.4 easy, some do ALOT better...I can get into Windows at 2.6 but it will crash under a load, and I don't have the cooler to give it more voltage. I am quite happy though with my 2.4ghz AMD $77 Intel 3.2 beater hehe.

Haha, yeah.
To be honest, I don't need 2.2+ GHz, As I really don't do anything that is too demanding. I guess I'm doing it just to keep up with everyone else?
Honestly, I could use a ~700MHz PC and be fine.

With a Mobile 2400+ you can go with stalk cooling to 2.2 easily. But if all you need is 700MHz than I wouldnt over clock that thing at all. 700MHz is only like word processing so it you need more OC that thing up to 2.6 or 2.5.
