mixing sata and sata 2

ive got a seagate sata2 120 gig, and i just got a free sata 250 gig western digital hd. just wondering if theres any problems setting the 2 hd's up in my pc, any kinds of conflicts...

im guessing all im gonna have to do is plug the sata hd into my case and it should just power on and work?

any suggestions/advice would be helpful

there shouldn't be.. but either way , since your mobo dosent "support" Sata 2.. you wont see the bigger pipe advantage

SATA 2 drives are backwards compatible with ATA-150 so there wont be any issues. Your motherboard doesn't support SATA 2 though having a SATA 2 drive doesn't really benefit you.
