Mixing Ballistix, voltage problems?

mixing ballistix, would it be foolish to mix 1gb of 3200 ballistix in dual channel with another set in dual channel? I ask because of the high voltage the crucial ram likes.
 
all are the same part number?

why would it be an issue with high voltage.. i've never had to run more than 2.6v to get it stable at stock... and "high" doesn't happen until you break 2.9v :p
 
my bad i forgot to specify, i mean mixing it with another brand, a freind of mine has offered me an insane deal on some OCZ

so the voltage issue would be that the ballistix likes 2.8, while others 2.6
 
well, you've been using the ballistix right, at what voltage? does it actually need 2.8v to be stable, or did you just set it there for the hell of it?
