I'm looking at one of these combo's:
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=PROFRAME&PROD_ID=619248#
and I currently have a 3Com 3CRWE737A 802.11b card I use in my laptop.
I'm not happy wiht the 3com and looking to replace it with one of a brand recommended by my campus.
Here's what I'm looking to do. I'm looking to purchase the combo, put the usrobotics nic in my laptop, then put my 3com into the usrobotics adapter and that goes into my workstation. This way, I can use the 3com as an access point at home.
Anyone think this is possible? I'd think it would as the usrobotics has to use a 802.11b standard interface language if you are to use the pcmcia piece in a regular laptop.
