mix and match

i'm wondering if it's possible/adivsable to combine two different types of memory. not just two types i guess, two brands with different timings i believe.

i've got one of these:

and i'm wondering if i can bump it up to 1gig using this:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-217&depa=1

will the timings screw stuff up or is it not that big of a deal. it will be used for some minor overclocking.

While you could mix the two the Mushkin has rather loose timings in comparison to the Corsair. Thus you would have to run the Corsair at whatever the Mushkin memory can handle. I don't think you'll get a good overclock using these two in combination Stick with the Corsair and get two matching Dimms or If you want Mushkin get some level one or 2-2-2 special. You may also want to consider some OCZ 32500EB. good luck
