The monitor has been discontinued and cannot be found new anywhere, only the spectraview.
I found a unit here at http://www.nm-select.com/product.asp?sku=2551053 and its Factory Recertified/Refurbished and only $199+ my chosen warrenty.

is this a good deal or are they just bullshitting me and they did nothing to the monitors and they are the defective units, and theyare just trying to sell me trash.

I really wnat to know the opinions of you guys.

I have also found azatek.com which seems really good with refurbs, does anybody have http://azatek.com/details.asp?iid=482
 
Why would they sell you a broken monitor with warranty? I think they have better things to do than to bullshit people for $200
