Mitsubishi 930SB dying?

I recently started getting a message durring the boot process that says "Refresh rate lower than reccomended..." and the on screen menu's have been locked out. I searched here and found nothing... I searched google and found a post from 2003 on hexus but the thread provided no help. I should also add that once in a while the screen gets a pinkish tint to it then goes back to normal. This is a great monitor but I have been looking for a reason to buy an LCD.

Ya, I get a tint sometimes too, and I also get ringing sometimes. Its be about 2-3 years now, so its time to get a new monitor.

CRT monitors ring?? i get a sound someitmes.. dono where its coming from.. but does that mean the monitors dying? i guess u can call it ringing........ its the same sound ud hear when ur ear goes weird n u hear a 'ringing' noise....
