OK, I have searched high and low and I can't find a thread I wrote about page files. The title was something close to "ram vs. page file" in the OS forum.

I wrote it not long before the forum upgrades/downtime. Any suggestions? Bury the missing as dead?
 
Probably not i the search index, sorry. You can search manually through the forum it is in if you know the approximate date. That is your only option to my knowledge.
 
go to your user cp and check all you "new subscribe threads" and if you posted in the thread it will be in there

iirc, subscriptions are brought over from upgrades. Least I've never had a problem with my subscriptions in vBull 3.x when going from 2.3.x on the board i run.
 
when the server was upgraded a few months ago the subscriptions of all users were removed people had the "email notification" selected and the emails in peoples accounts were invalid this caused thousands of "mail undeliverable" emails back to the email server and one would turn it off or fix the email addresses so kyle deleted the subscriptions
