missing a resolution setting

Well I jsut recently got a new 6800 Ultra OC Vid Card. Problem is on BF Vietnam when i had my Radeon 9700 Pro, I could get a resolution setting of 1280X960 (highest game allows)

Now with my new card I dont even have that option.. !!! what is up with that, I know my new vid card is far superior, Am i missing something here?
 
I don't have the game to test, but my 6800U OC will allow me to select 1280x960 in XP. Have you looked to see if it's an available option there?
 
I have a Hitachi LCD monitor, I dont think i have that option.
