First four were taken with the Sigma 50mm; last four taken with the Sigma 150mm plus 2x TC.
 
Assuming the first 4 used a laser pointer, what did you shine the laser at to get that effect. Those pics are awesome.

The white bird one is really awesome, its perfectly captured.
 
It was actually one of those laser levels, so what was coming out was a line of light instead of a point (in cross-section, anyway). That was then passed through various random pieces of glass: jars, dishes, glasses, and that kind of thing. The result is an amazing array of interference patterns. I'm surprised the photos came out well at all. They were all about 1/30", ISO 800, ~f/5.6 or so.

The white bird (a black bird inverted, of course) wasn't much of a shot, aside from being more or less in focus. Inverting it really seemed to bring out the detail.
