Yeah, it will run on your laptop. It runs on my laptop. Only 512MB will make it a bit slow on your laptop.

I have 5270 (Dec CTP) installed now. I'll install 5308 (Feb 2006 CTP) later this week.

I don't think ANYONE can run the Sims 2 smoothly.


And yes, it probably will make it jerk. You may not even get to use the Aero Glass interface, you may be stuck with the lower end theme.

The GUI is scalable, like many games. You can add or drop features for performance.
