hi, I use to have a batch or a .vbs script which allows me to minimize all windows at startup with a delay. But I no longer can find how this is done. Does anything know?

(It emulates the "Windows+D" or "Show Desktop" key)

thanks

Show desktop.scf
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Place in your %systemroot%\System32 folder. Execute 'Show desktop.scf' from wherever to get the desired effect.

THANKS, but I was looking for a vbs script.

wscript.sleep 7000 // define the delay in seconds
Dim oShell : Set oShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application")
oShell.MinimizeAll // minimize all open windows after delay

You did say batch, too (which would have worked because you can do write to/execute files via batch).
