I've had 4 abit IC7-G's where the stock NB HSF rips the connector pins off one side and launches ( yes, launches it from the retaining force about 5 inches ) itself onto the side of my case, replaced two side fans that way. And they are a tad bit picky on voltages especially in the ram area =(
And the monitor might be pricey, but I've been using a MAG one from Sam's for the past 4 years. It can't even do 1024x768 at above 75Hz...sooo...I've cripped this "newer" rig of mine for long enough with it.
