I guess they're using some flavor of those Cornice drives, so the thing shouldn't be as thick as the Rio Karma.
 
well that looks like a good photochop to me...it is too much like somebody just cut the bottom off the current ipods....guess we will have to wait a couple of days to see

It's "mini" in the sense of size but not in sense of design.. It's just a normal ipod with a smaller hd..

I dont think id would be "stupid" if the price were dramatically lower.

The power and price advantages of moving to a mini-drive may be worth it. Hitachi microdrives.
