This is nothing super complex or high tech or anythig. Here is the most effective/cheap/noobish "outside of the box" cooling solution:

My room is pretty warm. So to bring down the temps, directly around my pc, i found this old mini oscilating fan. It works pretty well (when the power is all the way up). one day i was curious as to whether it would work in my comp. So i took it apart, pulled out the pin, and stuck it in my comp, it brought the temperature down about 5 degrees c. But then i decided it was screwing up my air flow, so i took it back out. Im about to put it back together, and i jsut wanted to take one last look at it, so heres the pic when it's on my window sill.

Yeah, its actually pretty loud. I dont have the hnumbers or anything, but compared to your typical pc fan, its pretty loud..And massive, as you can see in scaling to the comp.but hey it gets the job done.
