Migrating Xiotech to VNX

Looking for the best way to migrate data from a large old Xiotech array to a EMC VNX5500.. I need to migrate ~ 60TB of data between these with minimal downtime. Most of the hosts are Hyper-V, and almost all are SAN boot on HP blades.

Anyone know of any good tools that would help this process to minimize downtime? Microsoft's "quick" storage migration is not really what I am looking for as dependent on the size of the VM that initial copy with the VM being suspended could cause a decent outage. It also looks like Xiotech is not supported under EMC's SAN Copy.

Love to hear some thoughts on this.
 
EMC's SAN Copy wouldn't help anyway since you'd have to do a "pull" operation from the VNX. This would require the Xio LUN you're copying to be offline during the copy process.

Platespin Migrate may also be an option but I've never used it.
 
I thought he was trying to do XIO => VNX?

With EMC's SAN Copy you can either install the enabler on an EMC source SAN and perform a "push" to the destination which allows the source LUNs to remain online during the copy or, in the case of migrating from a non EMC SAN, you perform a "pull" from the destination EMC SAN which means the source LUNs must be offline on the source SAN during the copy process.
 
what is "not cheap"?

Platespin Migrate sounds interesting as well.

We used it a few years ago and the license cost for the migration we did was about $15k. It was 90TB from EMC and Incipient boxes to some HP stuff.
