migrate from SSD to SSD

someone I know has a 60GB SSD and wants to get a new larger SSD.
I know it is not suggested to migrate/clone/ghost from a HDD to an SSD, but what about from an SSD to an SSD?

If there are no issues doing this, then what program would you guys suggest to clone the disk?
 
AFAIK, the only reason to not clone from a mechanical hard drive to an SSD is because of possible alignment issues.

If your alignment is good on your existing SSD, a clone or backup/restore to another SSD should be fine. Win7 backup/restore should work fine assuming you are running Win7.

I've done a backup/restore from mechanical hard drives to SSDs three times without issue using Acronis. In all three cases I made sure to first format the SSD under Win7 to get the alignment correct first.

If you have or can temporarily hook up a Seagate or Western Digitial drive to your system, each of those companies have an OEM version of Acronis you can download for free.
