I am updating my old setup and going to a small build after 10 years of standard ATX layout. I have my components figured out all except the audio. I was going to go simple and ju7st grab a set of newer logitech 5.1 speakers only to find that they aren't exactly all that great (in terms of HD audio output). Then I start looking into sound cards, almost was sold on the setup of going ASUS Xonar Essence ST with the daughterboard H6 only to find that I can't find the daughterboard anywhere!!

So now I am lost at what to do, I was sold on getting a card with RCA connections including at least one optical in/out and a line in. Figured it would be easy to find(unless wrong) some RCA speakers. Overall I am just trying to have one set of speakers to rule my cable box/ps3/htpc. Looking to spend $500-750 on speakers and card

Thanks for the input!
