anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.
Do I need Adaptive Anti-Aliasing Turned on with the top 2 items turned on?

Drivers
I have 9.3.1 installed

I see for Vista/Windows 7 there are 9.6 drivers. Can I use these?

Your best bet is to leave all AA options disabled through CCC. Use the AA settings available in each game. Same goes for Anisotropic Filtering. You may want to play different games at different settings so that will allow you to. It can't hurt to try the new drivers. 9.6 are newer than 9.3.

Unfortunately, on my 4870x2 I have to use 9.4 because 9.5 and 9.6 both cause problems when i exit a game. My CCC settings get reset for some reason. With 9.4 that does not happen though. Good luck!

9.6 works great for me and you should always keep your drivers up to date, sometimes you can get a performance increase from them.
