Microstar MS-6579 Overclockable?

I have a MS-6579 motherboard by MSI. This is the board that came with my HP computer, and it's a board thats really hard to find any information on. I since put the motherboard in a completely new case, swapped out a lot of hardware, ect. I really would like to be able to overclock my P4 2.26GHz 512k 533MHz (No Hyper-threading) to something like 2.5GHz. I'm definitely not worried about cooling since the new case has a ton of fans, and my CPU runs at 94-96F idle, and 105-107F under load.

But yea, this is a rather "rare" motherboard, as it's uncommon, and is probably specifically manufactured for HP, or at least under a different model number for HP.

I just want to know if it's even possible to adjust the multiplier on this board. There are no options in the BIOS setup to do so. Is there a software tool that can adjust it? If it's possible, is it worth the effort? and what is the chances if i change it that I might mess something up and it won't boot... I don't want to screw up my system where I'll have to buy a new motherboard, since I just spent a lot of money on a 6800 GT!

Thanks for any help! I know "newbie" questions aren't usually welcomed when a lot of overclocking articles are floating around, but I really need to find out if it's even possible for this rare board before I even bother searching and searching, when hopefully one of you might have the answer!

What I found out after asking around, is that in short, no it's not possible. The processor the board uses is a locked processor, and can not run at anything higher then what it is assigned for. I think the only way it's possible to adjust the multiplier is to download some sort of software, as there's nothing in the BIOS. MSI has overclocking tools on their site for different boards. But I'm almost positive nothing will work with this board. I could be wrong, but this is what I was told after asking around. And I never really completely looked into it, as I realized the slight performance increase wouldn't be worth it to me as the FSB was too limiting anyways. Hope this was helpful.
