Can someone tell me why it leaves an empty space of about 10 gigabyte I would assume from 5 gigabyte in on the harddrive? All internetfiles,trashcan, swapfile and such is on a separate harddrive??
 
lol cuz it sucks i dunno. mine does the same i have a 80GB and it leaves a HUGE gap and then puts some chunk at the end. swap file is on other drive...
 
Yep, thats why I bought a third party app, O&O defrag. MS would only half defrag, or tell me to run chkdsk when I didnt need to. O&O gives you the option to do a regular defrag, or place files on the drive by name, date modified or last date accessed.
