Microsoft word question - how can i have a line going above some words? (aboveline)

Underline means a line going under a certain word or phrases, how can I do a "aboveline" so that a line runs above those words or phrases?


for example, i want a line above the letter A so it reads "A bar"... u get the idea, i can't figure out how to do that in word, so help please

Just start your letter or word one line lower than the underline!
