Microsoft Word does not paste hyperlinks from IE

We are having a problem with someone's computer. He is trying to paste from webpages into word documents, and word is automatically removing the hyperlinks.

I checked the "smart paste" settings on the edit tab of his ms word preferences and it was fine.

Any ideas?

I logged in as a different user, (creating a fresh profile on the computer) and had the same problem. This means it is a per-computer setting and not a per-user or profile setting.

Any ideas?

What version of word?

Maybe give Detect and Repair a try? I think its under Help section.

Not sure if it will really work. I haven't had much luck with Detect and Repair.
