Hey,
I am looking at the microsoft ergonomic keyboards. I have seen the mircrosoft wireless desktop 3.0, 4000, and 6000. They all look identical and seem to have the same specs. What is the difference between them?
Thanks.

Only one of those is one that I am talking about. If you go to circuitcity.com they have the 4000, and 3.0. If you go to compusa.com they have the 4000 and 6000 which is sold out. All of these look the same. I want to know what the difference is.

I've got the 4000 and I have a bit of a gripe with it. If you don't want to game then this probably won't affect you. After pressing a key down for a while, the signal will cut out so you have to repress it for it to work again. I'm not sure if this is common to all wireless keyboards, but it certainly happens with the 4000. It may have something to do with their extended battery life feature, but I can't be certain. Other than that I'm very happy with it.

Thanks for the feed back guys. I have looked on newegg and found that an oem version of this set is available at $25. Compared to the $80 price at CC or BB this is outrageous!
