Microsoft Wireless Desktop

Recently I decided to test a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0. I have found that it has no noticeable response time lag and is much more convenient than the wired mice.
I want to upgrade to a wireless keyboard as well, but I'm quite picky about my keyboards and the only one that I have found that suits my fancy is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16823109144
Now, that comes with its own mouse and single transponder for the combo. I want to keep my current mouse for my desktop, but maybe use that included mouse with my laptop (in conjunction with my current mouse-only transponder).

Which brings me to my question:
Does anyone know of any compatibility issues between these different versions of MS wireless peripherals?
