Microsoft Windows Agentic AI Malware

*yawn* typical clickbait bullshit.

It was recently found that the #1 method of leaking private company data is now via AI. So even if a company has things locked down in terms of copying files onto USB drives, network drives, email, etc. People are literally copying and pasting private company data into AI during the course of their job, thus exposing that data to 3rd parties. This isn't a tech problem, it's a user problem, perhaps exacerbated by over-enthusiasm about AI. The warning was appropriate, and a good thing, not some sort of admission that the feature is bad. No one is forcing you to use AI.

From what I understand, it was only KMS38 that was patched, which was nothing unique to Massgrave, and I believe actually predates Massgrave. I'm pretty sure that Massgrave has been using HWID based activation as it's main method for years now, which is totally unrelated. But again, when you consider that everything in the video is purposefully misrepresented to get clicks/views, it makes sense.
