Microsoft to issue cursor flaw patch early

Guess this falls right in line with the recent report that Windows got fixes faster than most other OSes, eh? :p It's still not here yet, but if they get on it and fix it or patch it for us and post it, that's as much as I can ask for I suppose.

The faster they fix holes like this the better as far as I'm concerned.

So true. The primary reason it takes them that long- is an OS is a complex thing. It takes time to test the darn thing, make sure it works with everything in place, find any other possible holes, etc. I think people forget that.
 
I used the unofficial patch on it last week. :cool:
