Microsoft’s Data-Center Tab Tops $15B

Haven't you heard? Wyo is the new Colorado, just with more dust and less fuel tax.

That's nothing, less than half the capitalization loss ($4 stock price decrease in the past year) since Microsoft started showing Windows 8.

Hum... Like spending millions of dollars on a Doppler Radar system, which can prevent deaths due to damaging weather. However, it will never prevent BILLIONS of dollars in property damages, which will occur again and again in our life time. Seems powerful computer systems could be better used to prevent BILLIONS of dollars in property damages by designing storm proof buildings, housings and every type or kind of standing structures from the repeating current weather patterns occurring through out the world. :D

Too expensive, the builders would rather build and let the insurance (or government) foot the bill on the backend, post-disaster.

And, whom do you think will pay for this insurance? The poor and middle class?? The wealthy rich are the only ones who can afford Business, Home, Auto and LIFE insurances combined and then file a claim to rebuild for yet another perfect storm. ;)

Perfect solution... make every tax payer pay for FIMA, but the current weather patterns will break the US Treasury before military defense costs will.

WTF is a supercomputer good for, if not to prevent BILLIONS of dollars in property damages. Hey, look... we have built the fastest supercomputer in the world (nothing that will benefit individuals). Arrogance is bliss! In the old days, people WERE prepared for foul weather conditions without gas generators and without electric heaters (Our elders used candles and kerosene for light. They stored cut wood because every house had a fireplace and they stored food in mason jars, etc).

The United States citizenry has become weak and wasteful with money because some (not all) educated minds dictate how we should listen to their commercialism on a perpetual spending craze they want each and everyone of us to spend on the newest and greatest (so keep wasting your money on building yet another faster pc with the newest and greatest motherboard) - (Personally, I still have and use daily my Supero (from the 1990s) cased MSI KT 880 Delta board, AMD powered pc). Barns were built to withstand tornadoes and hurricane force winds (not to mention, but even the wood lasted a lease a hundred years). Past building architecture was more structurally sound compared to today's prefab box like with no design or character built in one week buildings. Today's building, homes, schools require MORE maintenance than ever for faulty plumbing and shoddy electrical workmanship because the overall product quality is NO LONGER manufactured nor properly installed (again a weaken mindset to built cheap short lasting products). Why?

Because the wealthy rich want to lead everyone into captivity by having each and everyone of us returning to purchase more of the same non-lasting (throw away) products. What a waste of energy and one day it will run out. nothing stays the same because this mindset is being pushed subliminally onto the general population.

Americans are digging their own graves, they are becoming weak in mind and lusting a quick return for a brief but never lasting future. In your end time, all the wealth you accumulate won't be going with you, so why not spread the wealth. Money is like manure, the more you spread it around the more it will grow. But the wealthy rich isn't spreading it around, rather they are hoarding it, maybe they know the truth... the weather will destroy them sooner or later. :D
