Does anyone have this mouse yet? I'm really interested as this mouse got a 10/10 "Kick Ass Product" rating in the latest issue of Maximum PC.

I've been using the IE3.0 for years and would not trade it for ANY other mouse. The ergonomics and features were a perfect match. Version 4.0 is looking great with the increased precision and horizontal tilt. Has anyone used it and does anyone know where to buy it? It is not even on Microsoft's own website yet.

Here is a picture of the mouse from the article:

I'm still using the 1.0 at home :D

Soon to be replaced by an MX700 ;)

Yea i seen it in MaximumPC when i was thumbing threw the other day. Definatelly looks like a mouse worth picking up. But i dont usually like to buy mice unless i can find a keyboard to match them. The Logitech MX Duo just seems better to me because of the keyboard. I only like Black or Silver keyboards and Microsoft doesn't seem to put out any that catch my eye with features like the Logitech Elite.

the one huge reason i did not upgrade to an explorer 4.0: the wheel does not ratchet. without this ratcheting wheel there would be no way i could use it effectively in games :( . just know this before you purchase it.

I just went from a dead MS1.0 to a MX700. great move!

I hope MS replaces my 1.0 with a 4.0. :D

...yeah...that mouse looks great!

Does anyone know if it is available yet? Have not been able to find anyone selling it.

Yeah the Logitech seems nice but I don't quite think wireless mice are there yet. Even though there is a wireless version of the I.E. 4.0 I want the wired version.

They need to come up with something better than 2 AA batteries, which adds too much weight to the mouse.
