Hello anyone here use a Microsoft Gaming Receiver for windows in Vista? I having a problem with my Microsoft Gaming Receiver for windows and vista. I am trying to connect a Xbox 360 wireless controller to the Microsoft Gaming Receiver in vista. but it does not connect, the ring of lights on the controller just keep flashing. But the thing is i have dual boot system with XP and the Microsoft Gaming Receiver and the Xbox 360 wireless controller connects under XP. I installed the newest update and the Vista update and it still dont connect, anyone care to help thanks!

I just installed it using the driver for the receiver that came on the CD, and it worked fine for me.

Are you hitting "connect" on the receiver and then connect on the 360 controller as well? :)

yea, i hit the connect on the gaming receiver and then the one on the controller, the one on the gaming receiver quits flashing but the one on the controller dont.

Its pretty fickle. Mine won't work simultaneously with my Saitek Eclipse II keyboard. Go fish
