hi all

i play FS2004 most of the time and my 24" is set up to play at 1920 x 1200, however in FS hardware settings i change the settings to say 1024 x 768 but i dont see any difference in the quality of the picture,

however if i go in and change the setting in FS options to 1920 x 1200 after a while my computer freezes and i have to do a reboot, i know its freezing bc of my GPU overheating but why does MSFS work ok if the in game res is less and the monitor res in at standard 1920 x 1200
