I just bought some nice sennheiser headphones but they do not have a mic attached.
I am going to need a microphone for ventrilo and games
need some suggestions on which microphone i should purchase

i was reading some review about the mic and generally people say that the mic is not sensitive enough.

Although i have not tested any of these mics a couple members of these forums recommended this site. http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category/140/mics

if you check the SP-LAV-3 mic under the picture it gives you a sample sound recording which may give you an example of the quality of the mics
 
osirus35- Woah... alittle out of my budget...

I am just looking for a basic clip on mic which will sound decent.. Im on a college kid budget :D

Also the last mic i used was from the Audio 90 headphones and i did not have any issues with that... Just need something which will not fall apart , sound decnet and is a good price

just go with the zalman's they do the job for games like cs and ventrillo. buddy has them with his headphones. I just ghetto rig myself and use my audio90's + sennheiser combo.
 
I got a $27 us mic from amazon, it has pretty good voice clarity but takes those small lithium watch batteries, they've lasted a few weeks so far but I have a feeling it will get annoying.
 
Anyone know a reputable site to buy the Zalman from? I checked Monarch and New Egg and neither of them carry it.
