Microphone dosent work on remote

Hi
I hope i can ask about 4k tv in here since this is good forum i use for pc.

Its about this tv Model 55pus8949/12

I just bought a new 4k tv for my mother and it has a microphone in the remotecontrole.
But when we go to youtube voice seach bar and press the mic icon, then it says Check microfone settings.
And then nothing happens.

We did enable the mic. in youtubes settings. There is a check mark on the enable mic options.
I tryed to google this problem and see we need to go to apps settings and allow the microphone but i dont see any app settings under the settings icon.
So where do i find the app setting and allow the mic ?

Or what is wrong here ?
 
sure, its general hardware but there is a display section.
my hisense has an option to turn it off/on in its menu, look for that. it has to be enabled there and in yt to work. also check for firmware updates.

We did a firmware update and i looked under sound, and there was nothing with microphone.

did you rtfm and pair the remote?

We did pair the remote pressing that blue circle icon on the top but i dident notice any leds blinking on the mic. I will try and pair it again when my mother gets home.
But i tryed to look under sound settings and there was no options for the mic. Is that normal ?

no idea
 
Strange now it suddenly dosent work...it just worked and now it dosent.
Pressing that blue icon dosent do anything now....
 
There was no options to re-pair the remote and the pair botton dident respond or do anything.
So i tryed to pull the power cable out of the power outlet and install it again. This worked.

So it seems to work now.
Now i know how to fix it at least
