MicroCenter XFX Pricing [S]illiness

Okay - just spotted an oddity (if you aren't into mail-in rebates)

XFX' HD6790 now costs $2 less than the HD6770 (also from XFX) before their respective mail-in rebates ($20 on the HD6790, and $30 on the HD6770). Both require dual 6-pin PCI-E power inputs (no difference there), both have 1 GB of GDDR5 (no difference) and both are dual-slot (again - no difference). The HD6790 has a 256-bit memory-to-GPU interface, while that of the HD6770 is half that (128-bit). Leaving their rebates out of the mix (not normally one for MIRs), should I jump on this pricing quirk?

The 6790 is really something like a theoretical 6830- it's a 68x0 with stuff disabled, not related to the 67x0 family at all; co-incidentally, the 6770 is actually a rebadged 5770. The 6790 has newer features, and is generally faster anyway- it's a no-brainer.
