Micro ATX X99 Mobo

I'm starting to order parts, hopefully Gigabyte's X99M Gaming 5 is out by next Wednesday.

I just picked that ram up, too. (It's the same price on Amazon.com). And a Corsair HX650 Certified Gold for $59 after rebate.

I ended up picking up the ASRock X99M mATX board myself.

Reasons against the Gigabyte board
1. Does not have a 4x m.2 port
2. No Intel LAN

The ASRock is nice too because it says it supports the Xeon processors and ECC ram so in the future when we can find the 8/12/14/16 core Xeon's on ebay like the 4/6 1366's it should be good to go.

I have a 512GB Samsung XP941, 5820K running at 4.2Ghz, GTX 970, 32GB DDR4 and the system screams.

On the ASRock X99M, is it possible to use an XP941 on the M.2 socket, along with a couple of SSD's in RAID 0 using the Intel RAID controller?

Hmm, no release as of today for the gigabyte.

Yeah still waiting here, really hoping it will be out soon.

Frys has a 5820K for $289 of course its in store only and there is not one for 800 miles near me. Ironic that its a Cyber Monday deal but its in store only...

Yea, Microcenter has it for 299, but at least there is one 5 miles from me.

Microcenter is about 1 hour in each direction from me, plus it would be $20 for just tax. So with the tax and gas I would be saving maybe $50, to me it wasn't worth the trouble. On top of that the Microcenter is in a very busy shopping center. Unfortunately where I live the only option is basically Bestbuy, which either never has what I need or is over priced.
