Had a psu die in a friends computer which is an IBM Netvista P3 800, it has a micro-atx psu in it which looks different to all the pictures I am seeing on websites.
This is the actual model although the image seems to be reversed horizontally.

I need to replace it from a location in the UK or failing that I'll just move the guts over to a new pc case.

Are they all the same with similar fittings or not?

Comments will be most welcome,

Thanks,

Dano.

We used to sell a microATX barebones system and this used to happen to us all of the time when trying to order replacement power supplies for them.

There are two flavors of microATX. They both have the EXACT same dimensions, but the backs of them are replaced (like where the mounting screws are.)

There's "L" and "S." I used to think "L" was for Left, but then that doesn't explain the "S." :(

Anyhoo...MOST are "S." eMachine and some HP's are "L." The one in your photo looks like an "L" which is probably why it looks reversed to you. Sounds like you're like 90% of the microATX folks out there needing an "S."
