We recently bought my Mother-In-Law a new computer. As part of it we had to get her a nice 17" flat panel because she couldn't stand the size of CRT. Fine..whatever. Now she doesn't like the fact that the speaker are sitting next to the monitor. Does anybody know of any mickey mouse style speakers (mount to the corner of the monitor) any speaker that are farely small that we could somehow hide them but sound "okay"?

Thanks in advance.

Double stick tape worked great for me. Just make sure you use the foam tape (stronger).

Here's mine:
P.S. If you see this as a threadjack, let me know, and I'll edit the pics back out.

Wow, buy the woman a brand new computer and she whines about the speakers. I'm willing to bet she's not a power user, so get over it lady!

No offense intended but she's old and probably won't be too worried about sound quality like us.

Just put the speakers behind the monitor so she can't see them. There is probably enough room behind a flat panel monitor I would think. I'm not sure why she's worried about them being beside the monitor though as that is extremely common.
