Mic stopped working.............

I have a creative soundblaster audigy se. It's worked since I got it a couple months ago with my plantronics headset. Today I installed my new MSI Neo-4f. I reinstalled all my drivers and everything. I can hear perfectly fine through the card and also the diagnostic mode didn't say there were any errors. I only have 2 things plugged in the headphones and mic. Naturally I thought it was a problem with the mic, but I tried it in a different PC and it works. I haven't tried another analog mic because the only other one I have is a Logitech USB one.

Did the recording source reset to "what you hear instead" of the mic when you reloaded the drivers?

Did the recording source reset to "what you hear instead" of the mic when you reloaded the drivers?

Well it was on what you hear but of course I changed it back to the mic. In ventrilo nothing comes at all comes out from the mic, same thing in most of the other recording software and stuff.
