Folks.. I was trying to play Metro 2033 with my Eyefinity setup at 5760 x 1080 which i have 2x5850's on a i7-930 platform on 10.9 driver/profile.. if i set it to DX 11 with normal settings then it shutters at like 1 fps .. but if i set it to DX 9 it plays fine under the same settings.. to i need to drop it to low setting in DX 11 ??

You can leave everything turned up, just turn off DX11 Depth of Field in the config file, it's a bit buggy and prone to slowdown.

I'm not sure why you'd want to play this game in Eyefinity / Surround. The mouse is horribly bugged (the wider the screen, the worse it gets) and the developers seem to have forgotten about the game entirely (so don't expect patch to fix it).

I also had a problem with shadows in the outdoor areas, where they would be horribly broken, jagged, and moved all over the place regardless of my position near the light source.

Had this phenomenon on both 5870 crossfire Eyefinity and 470 SLI surround, worked fine with a single screen on both setups.

Sadly this kind of stuff is just something you have to deal with as an early adopter I guess.

Early adopters? The people who purchased a Matrox Parhelia graphics card 8 years ago were the surround gaming early adopters. We're well into mainstream now.

It's simply a poorly coded and poorly supported game. The mouse and shadow issues in Metro 2033 aren't specific to Eyefinity / Surround, they effect all widescreen users. It's a shame, really.

It's steam .. i havn't found the file yet on my PC to get to the config.. but thanks for your help..

Doesn't matter if it's the Steam version, Metro 2033 stores its config files in the following folder:

C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro 2033
