tempted to make an offer on the HIS 4850. Got one in the wife's rig, and super curious how it would run in Crossfire ;)

a 4850 crossfire setup should run games well on 1680 x 1050 and 1900 x 1200 resolution (according to tom's hardware). this card was one of my greatest purchases ever. slight overclock with a very quiet cooler (nothing but a hum at 75% fan speed) is a great bonus.

Yeah, the wife's rig runs 1680 x 1050 with the single card. Runs great.
Video slows down sometimes when playing SIMS 3, and a couple of intense games... but really performs well with her 24".

Realized after my last post that I don't actually have a Crossfire motherboard... just SLI capable boards. :p

Makes me wanna play with crossfire even more, should I find a decent mobo first.
