Metal pump housing?

OK Guys,

I've got this pump that has huge flow (in the 700-800 gph range) but the damn housing keeps cracking on it due to pressure from the O-rings the 3/4" fittings need to keep the pump sealed. This is my second brand of pump (I had a Via-Aqua, now this one is something else off EBay) and I think I need one with a metal housing. Right now, reliability and non-leakability is more important that silence.

Any advice is appreciated,

I had the same problem with my via aqua 1300.... I ended up getting a laing DCC but the laing D5 is a really good pump also
