So got the build going updated and cleaned up the software now it it time to TEST..
Memory and GPU....Do people still use MEMTEST 86 ?

whats out there to test my GPU and Memory now days ??

memtest86 is among the best memmory tester IF you get the multicore version from passmark
Windows's built in is not worth your time and will pass on memmory for 7+hours even thoug the memmory is giving visuel artifacts on screen or unblee to boot windows

When i get home i can show you my test of memmory testers

Copy paste to notepad

Basically this is a list to see if a memmory test would pass or detect a fail in memmory in a 4hours time. each itereration then lowers voltage or tigten timmings to make the memory more and more unstable.
So this is not a test of hard errors but it should still give you a solid clue

notice how windows memory test in both standard and extended mode runs eaisly for 4 hours on a system that is unbootable.
Its utter useless crap along with gold memory

I used to use Memtest86 and 86+. At the time I was overclocking memory. Problems came about when the same clocks run in windows. I'd either get poor bench results or crashing. About five years ago I was looking for an app that would test memory in and while windows were running which solved my problems. HCi Design Memtest is what I would recommend. It can do both boots to program or run in windows. Both have their merits although I prefer testing in the environment my memory will be working in. If it works there, you are good to go. I bought the pro version for 5 bucks 5 years, 10 PCs, and two operating systems ago and still using it. Well worth the price of admission it auto sets up multiple instances to max out the available memory. Just fire it up and it does it's magic. You can accomplish the same with the free version, but you have to set it up yourself manually. I let it run at least one pass for all instances and haven't had any issues. I could go on about it but check it out, and you decide for yourself. I use HCiDesign Memtest Pro found here, but an older version. I could update to the newer version but haven't found the need to yet.

hci memtest is not bad its definitely up there.
but prime95 does the same amount of strength in memory testing accorindg to my tests. and prime95 is free.

However iIteste hci memtest the free vrsion so i had to open multiple isntantces and threby make the test multithreadd which is a a clear trend in my test it is neede to find memmory timmings issues.
So beware to not use hci mettest in only single threaded mode.

Prime95 is not as nice as hci metest to do isolation tests since prime95,stresses the cpu alot as well

So benefits to both. You need to know what tool you are wanting for a given situation

The ones to avoid is:
Gold memmory (old)
Memtest86+ ( no multithreading support)
Memtes86 V4.37 or older ( no multithreading support)
Intel XTU ( its simply just weak)
rightmakr memmory test ( againts just to week)
7-zip benchmark ( its not meant to be, and is poor at it)
Windows built in memory test ( its horrible and worse than anything else)
