Question is memrom gunna be a big increase over lets say a Intel Core Duo T2500? I mean conroe is a huge improvement because P4 sucks :p but it was based off of Core Duo so how much improvement is there going to be? I want to buy a whitebook and and piece together a nice laptop but i dont know if I should wait. Can anyone that knows intel pricing scheems take a guess at what a T7200 2.0GHz 4MB L2 667MHz FSB 35W is gunna cost. It's their lowest 4mb memrom option. Thx for helpin me out in advance.
 
not sure on pricing, should be a decent performance increase (but with dual core you dont notice individual speeds anyway, its just snappy, and thats where a lot of performance feel comes from).

Oh, and its "merom" not "memrom". 2 "M"s, not 3.
