About a year ago or so, i got really great deal on two sticks of Kingston HyperX 3200 RAM. I would like to upgrade to 1 gig eventually.

My question is is do I absolutely need to get another 2 sticks of HyperX (it's God Awful expensive)? Can I get a more cost effective high quality brand to match it with?

Thanks!

What system????

If it's a P4C, then you WILL need 4 modules to maintain Dual channel.
If you're running a AthlonXP/nForce2 combo, then 3 sticks will work fine in Dual Channel Mode.

It's a p4C...run in dual channel mode. I guess my question should be...how important is it to have the same matching brand.
