A friend of mine is giving me some equip like a case, fan and AMD 1800+ . So on my end, I am getting a new mobo (Nforce 2 Ultra specifically) and planning on getting 1Gig of ram, HD and recycling some other equipment.

What I am curious to know is whether 3200 DDR will work with the 266fsb CPU? I would like to buy this now and pop in a 3200 Barton in a year as an upgrade, but don't want to buy new memory again.
 
Yes, it will work. Memory can run at a slower speed than it's rated.
