Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I just can't seem to find the place in the P4G800-V's BIOS to adjust the front side bus speed. I'm using the version that it came with (1003). Anyone know where those settings are?
I'm also confused about the memory timings on the motherboard as well. I have it set to "By SPD", but when I change it to "User Defined" or whatever, I get timings of CAS2.5 4-4-8! I'm using PC2700 HyperX which is rated to go at CAS2 2-2-5 at 166MHz! Hopefully this is just the default value, but it's kinda weird to see.
I have concerns that this memory may not be in the best of shape. Haven't gotten around to using memtest on it yet, but could this be an indicator of that? Thanks.
