have a MSI K8N Neo Platinum motherbaord and two sticks of 512 mb Kingston Hyper X pc3200/ 400 (KHX3200AK2/1G). The ram is advertised at 2-3-2-6-1 timings at 2.6 volts. When I manually set these timings in mb bios the computer will not boot. I tried to to manually set at this to hopefully improve gameplay online. When it did not work my graphics in game now freezes for a few seconds every few seconds. Since the timing was auto set before I dont know what it was. Should I increase voltage to try to get it to work at 2-3-2-6-1 or try the next lower settings. If the latter what timings should I try as I know nothing about overclocking memory?

Well, make sure the voltages are set at recommended. Not the default from the bios.
If it's still a problem, raise the voltage by .5 or so.

Also, try to run memtest and see which test it fails - it'll give you a better idea of what's causing the problem. Generally, tests 1-4 is more cpu based - 4+ is more memory intensive. (correct me if I'm wrong) ^^

also, are you sure that you have the timings in the right order in the bios? ;)
